Many of these items contain lead, mercury, cadmium and other heavy metals.  Recycling keeps these hazardous materials out of our landfills and out of our drinking water.

When you recycle with ARC Broward, you demonstrate a commitment to providing jobs for people with disabilities to become a part of our electronics recycling staff.  When people with disabilities work, they pay taxes, just like you - so the economic benefits impact the whole community.   ARC Broward is a 501(C)(3), charitable organization so you and/or your business can also receive a tax deduction for your donated electronics.

 

All recycled electronics will be dismantled and reused locally — no e-waste will be shipped overseas.

Need to get rid of your obsolete gadgets?  We’re partnering with ARC to recycle your unwanted electronics. 

 

We’ll be collecting:

TREE & PLANT SALE

 

Broward County Master Gardeners will be

on hand to answer your plant and pest questions. 

They can ID plant samples and help you decide

which plants are right for your space. 

 

FPL will be available to assist you with their

“Right Tree, Right Place” program

Fort Lauderdale Police will collect and dispose of your unused medicines properly.  It keeps drugs out of the wrong hands and out of our water supply.

We’ll be accepting donations the morning of March 10th — please do NOT drop off items before the 10th. We’d appreciate you dropping off donations as early as possible (someone will be onsite at 6 am).  We’ll have a drive-through lane for donations with volunteers to unload your car — we’ll make it quick and easy for you to drop off your treasures.

We’re looking for smiling faces to help in setting up the yard sale, pricing and selling donated items, and clean up.  If you can assist us in any of these — we would appreciate it — also, if you have tables, shelves, or racks that we could use for the day.

If you simply need more space in your closet or garage, donate your unwanted items to VPCA and our volunteers will sell them with proceeds to be used to improve and beautify our neighborhood. 

 

 

 

 

 

We’re looking for anything in clean and working condition: 

 

· home furnishings,

· kitchen gadgets and small appliances,

· books, CDs & DVDs

· furniture,

· tools,

· toys

· sporting goods,

· clothes,  (if possible, leave clothes on hangers). 

· bric-a-brac,

· whatever you have that you don’t want …..

 

 

If you'd like to rent a spot to sell your own goods, we'll have space available. Team up with a friend or neighbor to rent a spot — and share the fun.  Take advantage of our publicity (and great location) to clear out your closets and pick up a little cash!

One on-site parking space +

adjacent 10’ x 10’ space :

$20 for VPCA members,
